I like the new version of MovieBase but there are some feature missing to make it as compelling as the previous version :
1 - on the show page & movie page we can now switch between modern or classic view. I like the new modern view but it doesn’t show the history section like the classic view does. Is it intended ?
This is the only reason why I’m sticking to the classic view for now.
2 - the previous version of the homepage used to show toggles under each section to switch between shows or movies. I would like that feature back as I don’t like shows & movies to be mixed just like the new version does. I would also love each section to be able to display the items as two separate lists so shows & movies can be both seen at the same time (but not mixed up in a single list)
3 - i think the collection feature is lacking the possibility to add some seasons or episodes without adding the full show. This can be done already with the watchlist and custom lists. I think this would be great to becable to do the same with collection as shows are usually collected per seasons.
4 - i like the new option to customize which icons appear on posters. I would also like theses icons to appear on season posters and not only on the show poster (as seasons can be individually added to watchlist or custom lists). It would make easier to identify which seasons are part of a list when browsing a show thanks to the watchlist and custom list icons (and collection icon if feature 3 above gets implemented)
