Remember Sort Order and Other Selections for Library Items.

When I select a Library item like Watched, Watchlist, Collection, etc. and specify a sort order and the particular selections I would like to see, that work is lost as soon as I leave the screen. I want it to be remembered and restored when I return to that screen. If some people object to this, there could be an option to choose that behavior, though it seems to me most would want their selections remembered.

    Is available in the next version for all lists, custom user lists across devices.

      Yes, this now seems to be working properly in 7.0.5. Thank you.

      The one remaining problem I see in this area is that the Pinned lists on the Home page are not reflecting the selected order. If I click on the list, so I see the entire list, then the sort order is correct. But the items on the Home page itself are not in order at all, and I don’t see any way to order them.

      While I’m on this issue, there are some items on the Home page I would really like to see have more items displayed. Items like “Where to watch” include huge numbers of items on the Home page itself, so clearly that’s not a problem. Items I would like to see have more listed on the Home page itself are:

      1) Upcoming episodes - I know I can get the entire list by clicking, but why not just show it all with scrolling on the Home page.

      2) My lists - The number of items shown on the Home page is limited to 20. Why such a low limit? I think far more should be scrollable on the Home page itself.

      3) Pinned lists - Why not make far more available for scrolling on the Home page? I know you might want to limit it for extremely large lists, but I would like to see at least a couple hundred on the Home page itself.

        It’s mostly because of the performance issues and complexity. We would need to add pagination on the database to show more. If a user has a few 1k in the list that gets low
