Feature Request: Private Messaging & Direct Movie/TV Sharing I would love to see a proper private messaging system added to Moviebase. Currently, the comments section is not ideal for having private conversations with friends about movies, TV shows, anime, and animation. My idea is to add a Friends/Chat feature where users can privately message each other. The most important part would be the ability to share a movie or TV show directly inside the chat. For example: 1. I open a movie in Moviebase. 2. I tap "Share". 3. I select one of my Moviebase friends. 4. The movie is sent directly into our conversation as a beautiful media card showing the poster, title, rating, and basic information. 5. My friend can tap the card and immediately open the movie's Moviebase page. It would be much better than taking a screenshot or copying and pasting a link every time. It could also support: - Private 1-to-1 chats - Group chats - Sharing movies, TV shows, seasons and episodes - Movie/TV cards inside messages - Reactions to shared titles - Spoiler tags - Voice messages in the future - Notifications when someone sends a movie - "Add to Watchlist" directly from a shared movie card I think this could make Moviebase much more social while keeping its excellent movie and TV tracking features. This would essentially turn Moviebase from only a tracking/discovery app into a place where friends can actually discuss what they watch together.
